Whether you are looking to volunteer once a week, once a month, or once a semester, we are thrilled to have you support 826 Boston students.
Once you have completed a training, you can use the calendar below to sign up for shifts that are part of 826 Boston’s Annual Projects. Annual Projects are short-term projects that require sustained volunteer commitment for just a few weeks or a few months. Annual Projects include our Young Authors’ Book Project, In-School Projects, College Essay Boot Camp, April/February Break Workshops, and opportunities to support our After-School Book Publications as a member of the Publishing Corps, Editorial Board, or Typing Ninjas.

Prefer to set up a recurring shift in a K-8 Writers’ Room? Email us with your availability and we will work with you to find the best fit.

Out-of-School Programming includes After-School Tutoring, Evening Tutoring, and Storytelling & Bookmaking Field Trips, which all take place at our main Tutoring Center in Egleston Square.
